As Head of Events Marketing for the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, Dane is a self-confessed digital enthusiast. Responsible for the entire Social Media Strategy of Formula Student, the biggest engineering education competition in Europe, he achieved a 45% increase in Twitter followers, 98% increase in twitter impressions, 500% increase in Facebook likes and 350% increase in Facebook shares from 2017 – 2018 as well as transforming the Institution’s digital presence across over 100 annual events. Dane has over 10 years’ experience in B2B marketing, having worked on over 500 events globally. In his spare time Dane is partial to a round of golf with particular emphasis on the 19th hole.
